03Design and personality
Keicho is tall, with blond hair styled into an upright, cylindrical flat-top, a curl over his forehead and a small ponytail. He has a long, angular face, thick blond eyebrows and indigo-blue eyes. He wears arrowhead earrings in both ears and a school uniform. He describes himself as methodical, insists on rules and proper order, and pursues a decision once he has committed to it.
04Stand abilities
Keicho's Stand, Bad Company, is a colony of toy-sized soldiers, including infantry, tanks and attack helicopters. It attacks through coordinated suppressive fire, excels at ambushes in narrow or dark spaces, and uses its weapons to establish a defensive perimeter in every direction. Its parameters are Destructive Power B, Speed B, Range C, Persistence B, Precision C and Development Potential C.
Its strength comes from disciplined teamwork rather than the power of any one tiny soldier. Concentrating every unit on a barrage can leave Keicho himself open to a counterattack, as Josuke demonstrates by returning a missile. The 2017 live-action film adds a rule that issued orders cannot be changed; that restriction should not be assumed to apply to the manga or anime.
05Story
Story spoilers
The Nijimura brothers' father once served DIO and earned large sums of money. To prevent betrayal, DIO implanted a flesh bud in his brain. After DIO's death, it caused his body to mutate into a monster with almost no ability to think, spending his days rummaging through household belongings. The brothers abruptly lost their happiness and support and had to hide in an abandoned house.
Keicho grows increasingly angry at his father's incomprehensible behavior. He says he hates him and subjects him to insults and beatings, yet his purpose in creating Stand users is to find someone who can kill his father and end his suffering. He owns an Arrow without the beetle design. His treatment of Okuyasu is harsh, and he often scolds him; when Bad Company accidentally hits Okuyasu after he runs into its line of fire, Keicho even says that he might as well die. Yet when Red Hot Chili Pepper ambushes Okuyasu, Keicho instinctively rushes forward and pushes his brother aside, dying from the Stand's electric attack.
Near the end of Part 4, Stray Cat's air bomb tears a large hole in Okuyasu's side and leaves him unconscious. During Josuke's desperate fight with Yoshikage Kira, Okuyasu returns at just the right moment to rescue his friend. He later says he dreamed of his deceased brother while unconscious and, guided by Keicho, chose to return to Morioh to help Josuke.
