Yuya Fungami

Yuya is a biker and high-school student from Morioh, associated with a Honda CB400 motorcycle and an H☆S tattoo on his chin. Proud of his looks, he compares himself to Michelangelo's sculpture. Although initially selfish and eager to avoid danger, he is capable of loyalty and courage when others need help.

Highway Star operates over long distances. It can divide into footprintlike pieces to pass through narrow spaces and relentlessly follow a target's scent at up to 60 km/h. On contact, it drains nutrients and vitality from the victim and transfers them to Yuya, speeding his recovery. Yuya himself also gains a highly sensitive nose.

The Stand can lure victims into an illusory room before beginning its pursuit. Its automatic scent tracking is a strength, but it is not a highly precise close-range fighter, and misleading its tracking can buy time. Ultimately, reaching Yuya himself gives an opponent a way to end the chase.

The name comes from Deep Purple's song “Highway Star.” Some official localized releases call the Stand Highway Go Go.

Stand parameters: Power C; Speed B; Range A; Durability A; Precision E; Development Potential C.

Yuya appears in Diamond is Unbreakable and joined JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R as paid downloadable content on October 20, 2023. His game appearance extends the same central identity: a pursuing Stand user who changes from an enemy into a useful ally.
