Terunosuke Miyamoto

Terunosuke first appears under the label Enigma Boy rather than his personal name. Secretive and observant, he enjoys watching people become frightened and learning the small gestures they make without realizing it. Josuke's tell is biting his lower lip.

His distinctive look includes pale hair arranged in a crossing pattern and a long coat. Rather than overpowering an opponent directly, he relies on intimidation, hostages and carefully prepared surprises.

Enigma transforms people and objects into paper. To capture another person, Terunosuke must first identify that person's involuntary reaction to fear and then see the reaction again. This condition does not apply to ordinary objects, which lets him prepare a wide range of concealed traps. He can also turn himself into paper to evade an attack.

The transformation cannot simply be stopped once it begins. Keeping the paper folded holds the contents inside; unfolding it releases them. Tearing or otherwise damaging it harms whatever is sealed within. The Stand's name comes from the German musical project Enigma.
