03Character Background
Three years before the events of Part 4, he bought a decommissioned transmission tower from the power company for 100,000 yen and made it his home. After Super Fly appeared, the tower became a prison he could not simply leave. Yoshihiro Kira later offered him the chance to escape by trapping another Stand user in his place.
04Appearance and Lifestyle
His daily life revolves around the tower, where he has learned to grow food and move nimbly across its beams and cables. Thick calluses on his hands help him use tools and grip the structure. The face and name he presents are a disguise; his original identity remains unknown.
05Stand: Super Fly
Super Fly is bound to the transmission tower and acts automatically rather than obeying Toyohiro like a conventional fighting partner. It requires an occupant: if the only person inside tries to leave, their body begins turning into metal. When another person enters, one can leave while the other becomes the prisoner.
The tower also absorbs attacks on its structure and reflects their force. Reflected energy can rebound again if it hits another part of the tower. Toyohiro exploits this by striking at calculated angles, but the same mechanism can be turned against him. Simply beating its user does not switch the tower off.
Stand parameters: Power E; Speed E; Range not assigned; Durability A; Precision E; Development Potential E.
06History
Story spoilers
Toyohiro lures Josuke into the tower so he can leave, but Mikitaka intervenes. Josuke returns to help and eventually uses Crazy Diamond to send Toyohiro's reflected attacks back toward him. After losing, Toyohiro gives up his escape plan and remains in the tower, which becomes one of Morioh's local curiosities.
07Name Origin
Super Fly takes its name from Curtis Mayfield's 1972 album Super Fly.
