Personality

Confident in his own strength, he looks down on humans but deeply values his companions; his friendship with Kars goes back more than ten thousand years. He does not fight lightly, but when he does, he aims to finish quickly. He has both experience and intelligence. He is somewhat quick-tempered and calms himself by bursting into tears when his emotions get out of control. He will sacrifice himself to achieve his goal.

05Abilities

He has extensive combat experience and once read Sun Tzu's The Art of War in China. His ultimate technique is the heat-controlling Mode called Erratic Blaze King: he raises his blood to 500°C and sprays it through extended blood vessels to burn his enemies.

Heat Mode is an application of Pillar Man biology, not a Stand. Esidisi can reshape his body, absorb organic matter and even continue moving as a detached brain and nervous system after his main body is destroyed. That survival ability does not remove his vulnerability to Hamon and sunlight, so possessing Suzi Q is a desperate delaying tactic rather than a permanent escape.

06Story

Story spoilers

More than ten thousand years ago, he followed Kars after their people turned against him. Taking two infants with them, they began a long journey to improve the Stone Mask and become Ultimate Life Forms. They entered the course of human history around 3000 BCE, and two thousand years ago he fought Hamon warriors alongside Kars and Wamuu.

During the battle beneath the Colosseum in Rome, he implanted a poison ring in Joseph's throat, giving him 33 days to obtain the antidote inside his nose ring. After discovering the location of the Super Aja before Kars and Wamuu, he went to Lisa Lisa's island in Venice to seize it and swiftly killed one of Joseph's Hamon instructors. He turned Joseph's habit of predicting an opponent's next line against him and saw through one of his schemes, but ultimately fell for another trick and lost.

Although Hamon reduced his body to ash, his brain clung to Joseph's back and then possessed Suzi Q. He stole the Red Stone of Aja and mailed it to his companions, staying behind to buy time and intending to take his enemies down with him. Joseph and Caesar finally forced him out of her body together, and he perished in the sunlight.

07Character Assessment

As Esidisi's life faded, Joseph expressed admiration for his attitude toward life: setting aside questions of good and evil, he respected the way Esidisi used every means available to obtain the Red Stone for his companions and fought with everything he had to survive.
