03Profile

A tactical genius who values fair duels, Wamuu is a warrior worthy of respect. He dislikes anyone stepping on his shadow. His name comes from the British pop duo Wham!
04Character Design
Abilities and Fighting Style
He uses wind to create whirlwinds and cutting blades of air. By bending light with air currents, he can become almost invisible; his final technique releases an extremely sharp stream of air.
Personality
He has a keen tactical mind and insists on fair duels, dignity, and honor. He respects powerful warriors he defeats, and will stop others from ambushing an opponent who has won. Although loyal to Kars, he holds to his own principles.

05Story
Story spoilers
He is regarded as the strongest Pillar Man in pure fighting ability and ranks third among them. Kars and his companions raised him from infancy. In the battle in the underground excavation, he implanted a poison ring in Joseph and set a 33-day deadline. After defeating and killing Caesar, he left his opponent's final Hamon intact. He ultimately lost to Joseph, turned to sand, and drifted away on the wind.
His final duel with Joseph is fought as a chariot race. After Joseph defeats his wind attacks, Wamuu uses his last strength to destroy vampires trying to ambush the exhausted victor. Their farewell expresses the code of honor that separates his respect for a worthy opponent from simple obedience to Kars.
06Abilities
His main technique is Divine Sandstorm, which produces rotating wind pressure from both hands. His Final Mode: Atmospheric Rift draws large amounts of air into his body, compresses it, and releases it at high speed through a tiny opening as a sharp blade of wind. The compression damages his own body. He also has the Pillar Men's bodily abilities, such as contorting his body, and can expel air to refract sunlight, conceal himself, and avoid the sun.

The horn on his forehead can detect changes in air, letting him locate an opponent even without sight. His protective wind suit only deflects sunlight briefly—about ten seconds—and consumes considerable energy. It is a temporary way to cross exposed ground, not the complete immunity Kars later acquires.
07Related Works and Reception
He appears as a playable character in several games. Fans generally regard him as a noble antagonist and a warrior worthy of respect, and his final duel with Joseph is praised as an outstanding example of a fight scene.
