03Personality
Angelo displays antisocial and psychopathic traits. He is careful and composed, but also prone to unprovoked outbursts of murderous instability. His appearance, speech and behavior all suggest danger, making him one of Morioh's most disturbing early enemies.
04Background
Angelo has repeatedly been imprisoned for crimes since the age of 12, spending a total of 20 years behind bars. In 1994, he rapes and murders two teenage boys, then kidnaps another boy for ransom and brutally kills him. Sentenced to death for rape and murder, he is shot in his cell by Keicho Nijimura's Arrow before his execution. This awakens his Stand and enables him to escape prison.
05Stand abilities
Angelo's Stand, Aqua Necklace, is a remotely controlled Stand that manipulates liquid. It can disperse into mist, mingle with steam, and enter another person's body to control them. Its dependence on its environment is also a weakness: sealing it inside a water-holding container, such as a glass bottle, renders it harmless. Its parameters are Destructive Power C, Speed C, Range A, Persistence A, Precision C and Development Potential E.

Angelo's criminal life begins at 12, when he is imprisoned for robbery and rape. He continues to reoffend and serves a total of 20 years in prison. In 1994, he encounters three 14-year-old boys, rapes and murders two of them, then kidnaps the third for ransom and kills him brutally. Although sentenced to death for rape and murder, he gains a Stand when Keicho Nijimura shoots him with the Arrow in his cell. He escapes and returns to Morioh to continue committing crimes. His use of another person's body to carry out a shop robbery exposes his activities.
Josuke Higashikata's interference makes Angelo want to kill him. He uses his Stand to murder Josuke's maternal grandfather, but Josuke and Jotaro Kujo ultimately catch him. Enraged, Josuke uses his Stand to smash Angelo into a rock and restore them together, fusing him with it. Unable either to live freely or to die, Angelo becomes one of Morioh's landmarks, Angelo Rock.
Ryohei's death also establishes an important limit of Crazy Diamond: Josuke can repair a damaged body, but cannot restore a life that has already ended. Defeating Angelo therefore cannot undo his grandfather's murder.

Angelo appears in Diamond is Unbreakable and its adaptations. Takayuki Yamada portrays him in the 2017 live-action film JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable — Chapter I.
