In March 1994, Anjuro Katagiri encounters three boys. He proceeds to rape and murder two of the boys, stealing their belongings afterward. Anjuro recognizes the third as the only son of a wealthy family, so he decides to hold him for ransom instead. He is arrested by the police before he can collect the ransom.
