Howler is portrayed as a patriarch who deeply values his family's legacy and ancestral land. He has a strong sense of personal honor, willing to take extreme measures to protect what he believes belongs to his family. After assassinating Monte Brutto, he also murders the man's driver so that there would be no witnesses to his crime, though he apologizes for having to do so.↗

04Story
SPOILERS
At some point, Howler became the sixth head of the HOWLER Company. In 1967, a fire devastated his family's farm, nearly making them bankrupt. There was a dispute between the Howlers and the government representative Monte Brutto.↗
Howler eventually regained his wealth by selling a Tintoretto painting worth 70 million dollars and other valuable treasures that his family collected over the years. Thanks to the Lava Rock stored in the family's box along with the valuables, all of them eventually returned back to the box, with the Tintoretto painting bouncing around for over 10 years. One day, Howler called his young grandson, Hacca Howler, to his side to watch TV with him.↗↗↗
One day, he came home early from lunch and caught his teenage grandson spending time in the bathtub with a girl. The girl fled in embarrassment, but he was unbothered by Hacca's indulgence. Instead, he took the opportunity to lecture Hacca about the privileges and dangers of their family's wealth. He explained that while the Howlers were then at the height of prosperity and power, this brightness also cast long and dark shadows.↗↗
