01Basic information
02Appearance
03Personality
Tango Shirohara is a man with a lively over the top personality. He makes gestures and faces that are compared to cartoon characters and Godzilla while cutting off Rohan's signature catchphrases whenever Tango knows what he's about to say. He's an easygoing man with a commitment to his work, maintaining a capitalist mentality with a shameless desire to make money. Despite his shameless desires, he's very kind and considerate for his writers. He's caring and approachable enough to make a genuine connection with Rohan as friends despite their differences.↗↗
"Romantic" is Tango Shirohara's favorite word to use, it's effective without specifically applying to anyone he's met.↗
After hearing Rohan's story, Tango has a retrospective over his work and considers dropping the idea of a movie out of respect for Rohan. He doesn't completely drop the idea out of concern that it might classify as abandoning Orobog again.↗↗

SPOILERS
Background
Tango Shirohara met Rohan when he was younger and inexperienced with the manga industry. The two formed a bond and worked together in their professional work. Many years later, Shirohara and his capabilities mature enough to become editor-in-chief. Around the same time, he proposes a special edition of The Gentleman of the Foreign Residence featuring a new bonus chapter to Rohan, withholding the accompanying proposal for a live-action film adaptation.↗
A Rainy Monday
Rohan schedules a meeting with Shirohara in Morioh to discuss the bonus chapter. However, due to heavy traffic, the two agree to meet at S City Station instead. After Rohan encounters difficulties catching a train at Morioh Station, he decides to cancel the meeting and go home.↗↗
Original Author Rohan Kishibe
Shirohara instead meets Rohan at Morioh Grand Hotel's restaurant, where he reveals the proposal for the live-action film adaptation of Foreign Residence. Rohan promptly refuses, much to the editor's shock. He attempts to convince him, to no avail. Rohan reiterates his approval of the special edition of the manga out of respect for Shirohara, but continues to refuse the live-action adaptation. Tango Shirohara recalls an attempt to adapt his work seven years ago.↗
Once the story is finished, Tango Shirohara reflects on the truth of his profession. It is his responsibility as publisher to see that Rohan's story reaches the masses, no matter what. He ponders whether to abandon the special edition or not, as he questions if it would mean abandoning Orobog.↗
