Basilio's a wrinkled adult man of small stature wearing a silk suit and leather shoes. Everything about his outfit from head to toe are the highest quality brands. His face is gentle looking with deep-set eyes, and his abundant white hair is neatly styled. His look displays his high status clearly.↗↗
03Personality
Basilio Pistarino appears gentle, proper and polite. He presents himself that way usually but when it comes to urgent matters, his true colors come out quickly. He can be rough in a matter that betrays his normally gentle features. Despite being an elder, he has no qualms resorting to below the board means of handling his problems. From turning to the mafia or using the threat of violence outright, he's willing to attack Rohan Kishibe and attempt to selfishly sacrifice the mangaka's life for his own.↗↗
When the spiritual countdown from the doll's placed on him, Basilio reaches a new level of desperation and manic behavior as he's well aware of what awaits him if he fails. Basilio shows a deceptive amount of strength and agility for his age, able to swing around comparable to a monkey.↗

Background
Basilio Pistarino spent his youth with a close friend, an artist from Florence. As Basilio grew up, he started a personal business. The business is a roaring success, he earns his wealth and status with life going smoothly from that point forward. Within his early 60s, his childhood friend from Florence gives him a doll.↗
Three years later, Basilio learns the news of his friend dying from accidentally tripping and landing head-first onto a pen holder. A thief breaks into his mansion the following year and steals the doll away. Basilio fully comprehends the nature of the wooden doll after a spiritual countdown is placed on him. He uses the mafia to track down the source of the doll and learns about Lucio and Rohan.↗↗
The Doll Without a Past
Basilio travels to Morioh one week later and confronts Rohan. His initially rough and demanding attitude about the wooden doll he wants back immediately makes Rohan use Heaven's Door to keep him in check. However, after interrogating information about the doll and Basilio's history with it, Rohan lets his guard down and the man tackles him. He manages to regain ownership and runs away from Rohan. But before he can properly leave Morioh, Rohan gives chase and successfully gets the doll back.↗↗
The countdown has dropped significantly due to how the doll processes the transferring of ownership. Basilio's years of time drop to mere seconds. The countdown ends and Basilio perishes from a tree coincidentally crashing onto him.↗↗
