02Appearance
Ru Hayama is a young woman with a slender build and seemingly a little shorter than the average height. She has long hair that goes past her shoulders kept in twintails with flower-shaped scrunchies. She wears a frilly outfit commonly associated with idol performers in Japan, and fancy shoes. Her outfit has plenty of bows and ribbons, including a large one on her lower back.↗
03Personality
The star that everyone sees in public is a kind-hearted elegant girl with a sweet act toward anyone she sees, including strangers and creepy fans. Ru maintains a professional, polite attitude throughout her events, reciting ridiculous usernames like "Fishbreeder" with a straight face and even handling Hazamada's bizarrely foolish behavior with grace. Due to her life as an idol, she's diligently careful at never letting any of her private thoughts slip in public, which includes the fact that she has a boyfriend. Despite never knowing her in person, Toshikazu Hazamada calls her an angel.↗
Ru works very hard, committed so heavily to being an idol that her stage life can overtake her daily life as she struggles to find consistent time with her boyfriend, leading to a messy breakup that leaves her in tears.↗↗
04Story
SPOILERS
Diamond is Unbreakable
According to Tamami Kobayashi, it is rumored that Toshikazu Hazamada and his friend got into an argument over Hazamada's favorite idol or an anime, resulting in Hazamada using his ability to make his friend gouge his own eye out.↗↗
Toshikazu Hazamada's Questionable Adventure
After Hazamada's friend Genki Todo told him that even Ru would have a relationship behind the scenes as that is normal for an idol, Hazamada gets him to gouge his own eye out with his ability for "insulting" his favorite idol. Determined to prove his friend wrong and that angels really do exist, he heads to Ru's handshake event in Tokyo to try and get his Stand to turn into a copy of her.↗
One of Ru's fans, whose username is " FishBreeder ", brings an anime figure that he mentioned in a DM to Ru. Ru greets him, claiming that she read his DM and that it made her happy. However, he is stopped by Ru's manager, who only permits gifts being placed in a box rather than handed over. Before FishBreeder could even shake Ru's hand, her manager pulls him away and calls the next person over.↗
After the event is over, Ru looks at the messages from her boyfriend on her phone. He breaks up with her and calls her ugly because she couldn't find time for him over the weekends with all of the idol performance work she had to do, he accuses her of wanting to shake the hands of her creepy fans more than be with him. Ru tries calling him, but he pretends the call is from a telemarker and denies it since he is on a date with another girl, causing Ru to cry.↗
Hazamada, furious after failing to prove his friend wrong about his "angelic idol", unintentionally pays Ru's boyfriend back for her by choosing him on a whim to beat up with Surface in order to let out all of his rage.↗↗
