The parents of Rohan Kishibe. They were close friends with the Sugimotos, as their house was near the home of Reimi Sugimoto and her parents. On August 13, 1983, they had to leave to attend to urgent business, so they left a four-year-old Rohan with the Sugimotos at their home to babysit him overnight. When Rohan visits the Sugimoto family grave to confirm Reimi's story, a monk there tells Rohan of his past connection to Reimi. The monk is apprehensive at first, questioning if it's his place to say because he realizes Rohan's parents hadn't told him and understands why they didn't.
