02Appearance

Pink Dark Boy is a young boy of short stature and average weight. He has dark makeup across his eyes (made to look like a mask in the TV drama), and lines below them which connect to his chin. He wears a long overcoat along with a bow tie, ankle length pants, platform shoes, and a brimmed hat with a checkerboard pattern across the trim.↗

Heaven's Door 's physical form is based on Pink Dark, and as such, the two bear a striking resemblance to each other.↗

03Personality

While the main character's personality is mostly unknown, Koichi Hirose admires the manga's realistic characters and excitement including the titular protagonist Pink Dark Boy.↗↗

In Rohan au Louvre, a page of Pink Dark attempting to comfort a crying girl is seen. Based on Rohan Kishibe 's experiences with Nanase Fujikura, Pink Dark is portrayed as having a gentle side and a desire to help others.↗↗

In " Bloodsoaked Bookmark," Rohan's work is said to be so impactful that when Pink Dark faces a horrific enemy, the reader's skin crawls.↗↗

04Abilities

Pink Dark Boy's abilities are mostly unknown. He is shown fighting both unarmed and with various weapons, including a sword when facing Hot Summer Martha. He has also been depicted wielding a bow and arrow.↗↗↗

Time Erasure

In Volume 15 of Pink Dark Boy, Pink Dark is said to "blow away time" 時間をブッ飛ばす. Jodio considers the scene, which appears on page 92 of the volume, to be his favorite in the series. The exact nature and mechanics of this ability are unknown.↗↗

05Story

SPOILERS

Rohan au Louvre

Though Rohan Kishibe is stated to have been writing Pink Dark Boy' s manga since he was 16 years old, the first known appearance of its protagonist is seen during a flashback while Rohan was 17. Both concept sketches of the character and a panel of him comforting a crying girl based on Nanase Fujikura can be seen.↗↗↗

Diamond is Unbreakable

Although the plot and setting of Pink Dark Boy are unknown, Koichi Hirose states that it is a suspenseful horror manga that can be grotesque at times but has thrilling scenes and realistic characters. Koichi witnesses Rohan draw a page from the manga, one showing the protagonist in a sunny small town, jumping away from a vintage car.↗↗↗

Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan

In July 2021, Hot Summer Martha is introduced in the Pink Dark Boy manga as an antagonist. The protagonist faces Hot Summer Martha by the October issue. In one volume of the manga, Pink Dark can be seen punching Hot Summer Martha. Another panel shows him holding a sword.↗↗↗

The TV Drama includes several pages from the manga. Season 1 depicts Pink Dark's meeting with a maid and her tiger; season 2 expands on this plot, with the three eventually being forced to defend a castle from the attacking "Dragon Nero." Eventually, Pink Dark tearfully parts ways with the maid. Despite this, season 3 shows a scene from Volume 95, in which the maid and tiger accompany Pink Dark once again and point out Hot Summer Martha's appearance.↗↗↗↗

The Rohan au Louvre film includes another story arc in which Pink Dark and a man in a horned helmet come across a mysterious crying girl on the side of a bicycle path.↗↗

The JOJOLands

In the second continuity, Pink Dark Boy' s manga is still ongoing and Rohan continues to draw him regularly. The series has even received an anime adaptation, which Jodio watches online.↗↗↗

Months later, a manga panel in one of Rohan's manuscripts depicts Pink Dark reacting in amazement to an unusual baby.↗↗
