Kyoka Izumi

Kyoka is a petite woman with large lips and hair combed back into numerous large ringlets along the sides and back of her head. Numerous miniature bow-shaped hair clips are arranged throughout her hair, with a larger one near her temple and the smaller ones on her ringlets near both sides of her face and the back. She closely resembles her counterpart from Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan.↗

Kyoka wears a dark, short dress with a high neck and long sleeves. It is covered in several studs and secured around her waist with a belt. The skirt is decorated with a vertical row of bows along one side. She also wears tall boots and carries a small handbag bearing a "Jo" symbol.↗

Kyoka is practical and professionally minded. She is highly dedicated to her work, having traveled from Tokyo to Morioh at night to meet with Rohan. She immediately questions why a minor dialogue correction requires her to travel from Tokyo when the changes could be communicated by email or fax. Nonetheless, she is focused on ensuring that the corrections are completed before the chapter begins distribution and accepts the manuscript despite Rohan's unusual insistence on using only analog methods.↗↗

She is familiar enough with Rohan to question his decisions directly, but remains composed when faced with his abrupt behavior and rudeness. When assigning the last-minute revisions, Rohan flatters her by calling her a first-rate manga editor, wanting to persuade her to accept the task despite the strict deadline.↗↗
