Background
In December 1992, a seven-year-old Gennaro and his mother were attacked by Rossi Gallignani while he was intoxicated. Rossi dragged them to an abandoned building where he tortured Gennaro's mother to death and forced the boy to watch. The trauma left Gennaro plagued with nightmares and physical symptoms such as convulsions and vomiting. He grew up in an orphanage haunted by the event, waiting for the moment he could take revenge.↗↗
In 1999, he was eventually adopted by Rossi himself, who recognized the boy and deliberately chose him. Thus, Gennaro gained a perfect opportunity for revenge and planned how to murder his adoptive father while keeping up a friendly act.↗↗
Risotto Nero Osserva
At Rossi's Christmas party in December 1999, Gennaro plays the role of a grateful adopted son, participating in a public speech. He cheerfully smiles, admitting that he hasn't had the best schooling, but he'll try his best to repay his father's kindness for adopting him. He blushes during the crowd's cheers and applause. Next, Gennaro hosts a tombola game with his father.↗↗↗
As Rossi is about to light the Christmas tree, the power goes out in the mansion. Behind the scenes, Gennaro secretly prepared a plan to lock Rossi in his hidden safe room behind the "Unopenable Door," a room behind the Christmas tree sealed with an electromagnetic door. He had previously turned the mansion's heating to its highest setting to overload the breaker, and used fluorescent paint as a marker under the door.↗↗↗
In the evening at 9 PM, Risotto Nero returns to the mansion while he is invisible and confronts Gennaro, who is holding a knife in front of the Unopenable Door. Gennaro initially lies that he came to help his father, saying that the knife is just for self defense. However, Risotto exposes how Gennaro accomplished his plan to bring Rossi into the room.↗↗
At that moment, police burst into the room and open fire as they mistake Risotto for an assailant. Risotto uses Metallica to strip the officers of their iron, knocking them out. Rossi takes that opportunity to attack Gennaro, grabbing Gennaro's knife and stabbing him in the stomach. After successfully assassinating Rossi, Risotto heads to Gennaro's aid and picks him up. He assures Gennaro that he made sure to make Rossi suffer for a long time until his death.↗↗
Following Rossi's death and the exposure of his crimes, Gennaro is released from the hospital and is believed to have returned to his original orphanage.↗↗
