02Appearance
Yoshiki is a small boy with short, dark hair and thick eyebrows. He wears a short-sleeved shirt with vertical stripes and the number "33" printed on one sleeve. He also wears shorts with vertical stripes on the sides, socks, and sneakers.↗
03Personality
Yoshiki is a noisy, demanding child who fixates on what he wants and repeatedly chants for it at full volume, even in a public setting like a train. When his mother tries to correct him or warns him about consequences, he does not calm down and continues pressing her instead of listening to her advice. After he and his mother are attacked by Kira, he becomes frightened and panics. He checks on his mother after she collapses, showing that he cares for her.↗↗

Background
Yoshiki rides the Yamabiko No. 129 train to S City in the ninth Green Car with his mother. Noticing strong sunlight on Yoshiki's seat, his mother moves him into a nearby empty seat, 8B. However, this seat happens to be next to the ghost Yoshikage Kira, who reserved both seats 8A and 8B for himself.↗↗
Deadman's Questions
While seated beside Kira, Yoshiki loudly demands ice cream from his mother, despite already eating dango. He repeatedly shouts "ice cream" and insists he is thirsty. His mother warns him he will vomit, but Yoshiki continues screaming and pestering her, placing his foot on Kira's bag. A conductor approaches and asks to check Yoshiki's reserved-seat ticket. Yoshiki's mother explains that she switched Yoshiki's seat so that he would not get sunburned.↗↗
Yoshiki's tantrum escalates until Kira knocks the dango out of Yoshiki's hand, which falls and sticks to his right shoe. Kira then forcefully squeezes his wrist. Confused and frightened, Yoshiki begins screaming for his mother, but Kira abruptly silences him by forcing Yoshiki's right shoe into his mouth along with the dango, leaving Yoshiki gagging and crying. Yoshiki's mother rushes to help him, but she is struck by Kira and collapses unconscious.↗↗
