02Appearance
Usagi is a slim, well-toned, athletic teenager. He wears a tight form-fitting dark suit that covers most of his body aside from the face and hands. He has a few light-colored spiky bangs protruding from under the hood of his suit, which is tight enough to show that he has a short standard haircut save for the bangs and a small ponytail, which is covered by his hood.↗↗
Usagi has an upturned nose, dark eyes and big lips which stand out when he expresses surprisement.↗↗↗
03Personality
Usagi Alohaoe is scatterbrained, tardy, and hedonistic, but he is still trusted by Meryl Mei Qi to accompany her crew. Acting as the "airhead" of the group, Usagi often disregards simple instructions and is easily distracted by food and money. He has a habit of showing up with food ready to eat even in inappropriate situations. Before the mission to acquire HOWLER 's land deeds, Meryl stresses the importance of leaving no trace or witness behind. Characteristically, Usagi trips and spills food all over the floor of the land registry in front of several armed guards, which later allows Lulu and Bobby Jean to track down his team.↗↗↗↗↗↗↗↗↗↗
Though the group often chides Usagi, he remains friendly toward all of them to a comical degree. He is especially fond of Dragona, calling them "Pink-chan" and confessing his love for them after knowing each other for only three days. Although he is amiable with his crew, Usagi is still a sleazy teenager and swindles them by pretending their rental car cost more than it actually did so he would not have to pay for it.↗↗↗↗↗↗
Usagi is also fairly inquisitive and manages to ascertain the basic properties of the Lava Rock by experimenting with it. He is comparatively more educated than the rest of Meryl's crew, and Meryl herself states that he is an accomplished student. For example, he explains to Paco and Dragona the difference between flasks and beakers, as well as what 'a'ā lava is. He also knows of different endangered bird species in the jungle, and devises a clever plan to save the crew during their encounter with Wild Cat Size by serving them caviar to attract them to the Lava Rock.↗↗↗↗↗↗↗↗
04Abilities
Stand
Usagi's Stand THE MATTEKUDASAI can transform into objects that others around Usagi request.↗

Act One / The Diamond Heist

Usagi nonchalantly excuses himself, claiming his plane was late due to maintenance, although he also took the time to buy a drink. Dragona chastises him and mentions that he was given the task to arrange for a car. Usagi reassures his partners and leads them to a car rental he assures is safe because the cars don't have onboard cameras or GPS trackers.↗
Act One / Jungle Warfare
Usagi and the gang run across the jungle back towards their car but Paco trips on a root, forcing the group to stop. While Paco and Jodio try to remember the way to the car, Usagi idly recognizes a 'I'iwi bird. However, Dragona sees that the diamond has fallen on the ground, which surprises Paco who is sure that he put the gem in his backpack and zipped it. Then, Jodio also sees the precious artwork Usagi had stolen earlier near him beneath some leaves.↗
Act One / Testing the Lava Rock
Usagi and the others wind down after escaping from the jungle. They drive to a cafe, where Usagi begs Dragona to lend him $20. Dragona wonders if his family is poor, so Usagi divulges his family's history. Dragona agrees to lend the money, which Usagi uses to test the Lava Rock's ability to attract valuables. Usagi places the Rock on top of the bill while they talk for a few minutes, then marks the bill with a symbol using a pen before throwing the cash to the ground.↗↗
Act One / A New Ally
Dragona and Usagi exit the store while enjoying a bit of alcohol from Rohan's house. They celebrate their success and await the expensive wristwatch to return to them. Although Paco warns them about an enemy hiding nearby, Dragona and Usagi are distracted when they see the watch they targeted in another woman's possession. Dragona is disappointed but Usagi tells them that it means that the watch is already brought outside. Soon, a flock of birds approaches the couple.↗↗
Act One / The Land Exchange Operation
In order to acquire the rights to the lands in HOWLER's possession, Meryl directs the gang to Hawaii's land registry office so that they can make the Lava Rock touch all the original copies of the ownership deeds of the company. She assigns Dragona, Usagi, and Charming Man to go inside while Paco and Jodio stay in the car as support. While they are waiting for the office to open, Usagi chomps down on a hamburger. They eventually enter the building at 10:00.↗
Act One / At the Hospital
After arriving at the hospital, Jodio mistakenly presses the elevator button to the ICU. They see Sophie, the clerk from the registry office, unconscious. Her father, Congressman White, believes HOWLER poisoned her. He plans to seize HOWLER's land and signs a document on his tablet, but his assistant warns him not to. Before he decides to submit it, Sophie's ECG monitor suddenly flatlines. Amidst his grief, he leaves his tablet behind when he rushes into Sophie's room.↗↗
Act One / The Asset Collection
Later, Jodio, Dragona and Usagi visit Charming Man at the bank, the latter having been impersonating the banker Yokohama to hack into the bank's network and ensuring that as soon as Howler's assets are transferred to the bank, the assets will be transferred to the gang's bank account. Charming Man gives them a short tour of the office.↗
Act Two / The Cyber Fraud Scammer
Nine months after the land exchange operation, Usagi is at Jodio and Dragona's house and sits in the back of their car. He is fixated on fries he bought from St. Gentleman, excessively praising it. While reversing from his driveway, Jodio collides with a pickup truck and its occupants threaten them. Usagi steps out to handle the situation and presents altered dashcam footage from both vehicles as proof that the other drivers were at fault.↗
