04Story
SPOILERS
Background
Tony Bormont is a powerful 51-year-old mafia boss operating out of Chicago. During his syndicate's rise to power, Bormont orchestrated the assassination of a powerful rival mafia boss. At the same time, Bormont ordered the assassination of that rival's most loyal hitman, Rapona, because the man possessed an assassination talent that was deemed "too dangerous" to be left alive.↗
Gorgeous Irene
A few months later, Bormont orders a nationwide hit on Irene Rapona to prevent any future revenge, knowing that she had inherited her father's deadly skills. He places a massive bounty and search order across the country to find Irene, manipulating police, underground organizations, and transportation networks. He hires the Tattooed Assassin to travel to New York City and wipe out Irene. The assassin succeeds in killing Irene's butler, but is ultimately outsmarted and killed by Irene herself.↗↗
With the assassin dead, Irene seeks vengeance against the man who ordered the death of her father. A newspaper article reports that on the 7th of that month, Tony Bormont suddenly died. While alone in his Chicago estate, Bormont supposedly committed suicide by shoving a pair of giant pruning shears into his own mouth.↗↗
