04Story
SPOILERS
Background
While little is known about Max's history, an apparition of Alison Alohaoe 's husband manifested by Point Blank Seal reveals that Alison and Max were close to each other. The apparition implies Alison had been cheating on her husband with Max, and continues to see him after her husband's death. The affair is done in secret, as Usagi confesses he had never heard of Max before the cyber fraud incident.↗↗↗
The JOJOLands
After tracing Alison Alohaoe and Tory Alohaoe through surveillance footage, Meryl Mei Qi discovers that the two went to the house of Max, who runs a nursing home business, and stayed there for two days.↗↗
Jodio Joestar and Usagi Alohaoe enter Max's house to search for Alison and Tory and find the interior in disarray. Inside, they discover Max dead with half his face blown off and a revolver nearby. Jodio concludes that, based on the condition of the body, Max might have shot himself with the gun in his mouth. He also notes that there is no computer equipment in the house, making Max unlikely to be the cyber fraudster they are searching for.↗↗
Later, after the group tracks Alison and Tory to a zoo, Usagi talks to a security guard who confirms that Alison and Tory had passed through the alligator enclosure minutes earlier. However, the security guard's appearance then changes into Max, who crudely describes Alison crying while she performed sexual acts on him the previous night and says she told him that her eldest son "wasn't a man." His comments upset Usagi, and when Usagi looks back at him, he pierces Usagi's abdomen with his hand.↗↗
Max then disappears and Usagi believes that it was an evil spirit that attacked him. Jodio realizes that their mysterious enemy likely killed Max and then attached their Stand to Usagi. The apparition of Max later appears alongside other apparitions as they taunt Team Jodio through the Stand's ability.↗↗↗↗
