02Appearance

Ghost Rider in the Sky is a 5-year-old mustang. He possesses a highly distinctive coat; he has a white body covered in large dark spots, giving him an appearance similar to a Holstein cow. He features a bright, golden-colored mane and a beautiful snout.↗↗

While being ridden by Tim, he is adorned with standard cowboy riding equipment, including a bridle, reins, and a traditional Western saddle equipped with a horn and saddlebags for long journeys.↗

03Personality

Ghost Rider in the Sky is an incredibly intelligent, calm, and deeply loyal horse. Mountain Tim notes that the two of them share a profound bond and that their "hearts are connected," allowing the horse to move with such grace and quietness that its footsteps can barely be heard.↗↗

He is highly perceptive of danger and capable of acting independently to protect himself and assist his rider. During a massive sand avalanche, the horse wisely retreats to the safety of a high hilltop, patiently waiting until the danger passes before galloping back down to reunite with Tim. He is also highly tolerant and peaceable, calmly resting alongside a buffalo named Tarry without showing any signs of territorial aggression or anxiety.↗↗

04Abilities

As a Mustang, Ghost Rider in the Sky possesses incredible endurance and hardiness, perfectly suited for the grueling environment of the American West. Ghost Rider in the Sky's stamina and speed, combined with Tim's expert horsemanship, proves formidable enough to secure 4th place during the highly contested 1st Stage of the Steel Ball Run. Johnny Joestar notes that Tim and Ghost Rider in the Sky were able to catch up to the lead without him even noticing because of Ghost Rider in the Sky's silent hoofbeats. In the light novel Lonesome Tim, it is stated that despite its quietness, it has immense power.↗↗↗↗
