02Appearance
Bobby Jean is a man with an average height and build. He has sharp facial features with thick, arched eyebrows, thin cheeks, and a mustache. He wears a bucket hat patterned with crosshair symbols all around it. He also has thick, long sideburns and a ponytail.↗
Bobby's outfit is a tight-fitted long sleeve shirt with long pointed collars and rectangular buttons. It has a ribbed hem and cuffs. The back of his shirt has a graphic print of three flowers. He also wears shorts, thigh-high socks, and shoes.↗
03Personality
Bobby Jean is a respected individual working for the HOWLER Company. He is shown to be somewhat private, sly, and blunt. He is not above bribery, as shown with him offering the Land Registry Office guard money in return for a "Hula NYAN Dancer" figure, and pressures him when rejected.↗↗
Despite his authority above others, Bobby Jean is bossed around by Lulu and at times pushed to doing her bidding. However, he is actually a disciplined man who values order and proper behavior. He finds Lulu's begging annoying and only fulfills her demands because they're coworkers. He has a firm stance on how children should behave, being quick to point out that he would not tolerate whining or demanding behavior from his own kids or else he'd give them a spanking. Although he has a stern demeanor, Bobby is not entirely without compassion.↗↗↗
In his work, Bobby takes his responsibilities seriously. He ensures that his tasks are completed properly but refuses to do more than what he's paid for. Even if his targets are minors, he doesn't mind killing them in exchange for money, and would shoot them even without having complete proof of them being his targets.↗↗
04Abilities
Stand
Glory Days is a Stand that is capable of manipulating the muzzle velocity of the firearms he uses — which is the speed at which Bobby Jean's bullets are fired and strike his targets.↗
05Story
SPOILERS
Background
Bobby Jean has a wife and three kids. He is a police investigator, but at some point, also becomes an assassin for the HOWLER Company in exchange for money. At some point in time, he befriended Key West, Laem Chabang, and Ningbo.↗↗↗↗
Tracking Down Targets
Inside the Hawaii State Land Registry Office, Bobby Jean reviews security footage with Lulu, which shows a disguised Charming Man, Usagi, and Dragona entering the building. Bobby questions a security guard, who confirms they didn't take photos of the land deeds and just looked at them. The guard explains they were likely students on a tour, possibly studying history.↗
Lulu notices a "Hula NYAN Dancer" figure on a shelf and begs Bobby to buy it for her. The guard explains it's a souvenir from over ten years ago, now rare and not for sale. Lulu dismisses his explanation, continuing to pester Bobby. Bobby reveals he's just babysitting her and offers money for the figure. The guard, uncomfortable with accepting money, offers it for free, but Bobby insists by slipping money into his pocket.↗
Suddenly, Lulu gets a nosebleed due to one of her Stand 's bodies being destroyed. She points out there's no footage of the three "students" leaving the building. She highlights a van behind an ambulance in the footage, but Bobby notes the group arrived in a pickup truck. Lulu then identifies Dragona, Usagi, and Charming Man near the van. Bobby dismisses them as unrelated, but the guard recognizes Usagi as a boy who spilled cup ramen earlier inside the building.↗↗
Bobby Jean and Lulu track the vehicle of their targets and find it in a parking lot. However, Bobby Jean is skeptical because the traffic cameras' footage shows a pick-up truck with a different license plate and completely different people from the state registry office's footage. Nonetheless, Lulu is convinced they're on the right track and wants to know what their targets are after.↗
Battle at the Hospital
At the hospital, Bobby Jean and Lulu reach the B1 floor where patients undergo scanning. Bobby Jean receives a call from his boss, Hacca Howler, who asks to talk with Lulu. Lulu finishes her call with Howler and points Bobby Jean to a group of teenagers standing nearby after noticing the matching flower ornament on Dragona's head. Despite having no proof of their identities, Bobby Jean nonchalantly takes out a pistol, puts a silencer on it, and fires on the group using his Stand Glory Days.↗↗
While waiting in a lobby on the floor above, Lulu asks Bobby if he could adopt her since she has no parents. She pleads to be his daughter and expresses her love for him, but Bobby dismisses her, explaining he already has three kids and his wife doesn't even know Lulu. He criticizes her constant requests for him to buy her things, saying he would discipline his kids if they acted like that. When Lulu starts crying, Bobby tries to calm her down.↗↗
Bobby Jean and Lulu exit the elevator on the B1 floor just as Paco enters it. Bobby is holding his gun behind him, but it disappears as they walk out. Surprised that they're all still alive, Bobby decides to carefully take them out individually. When Paco is alone inside the elevator, Bobby shoots several bullets at him using Glory Days. Furthermore, one of his bullets shoots Yokohama in the head, who was about to enter the hospital. Bobby Jean and Lulu proceed to try and ambush Jodio.↗↗
Bobby Jean asks Lulu what the targets are after and Lulu reveals that they must be after HOWLER Company 's assets, and that Bobby and Lulu must retrieve a Lava Rock that one of them is carrying. With that in mind, Bobby Jean resumes his chase. In the hallway, he sees that there are only the men and women's restrooms left for Jodio to hide. Bobby Jean has to make a choice and goes for the women's restrooms.↗↗
As Jodio tries to hide and remain silent despite the pain in his chest from Bags' Groove puncturing his lungs from the inside, Bobby Jean carefully tries to find Jodio and assesses November Rain's ability. Guessing that November Rain can only attack vertically and that it has, at most, a range of 3 metres, Bobby Jean keeps his distance. He decides to shoot into all the stalls, which forces Jodio to deploy a barrier of rain to protect himself.↗↗
