Takashi Sugimoto (杉本 隆志, Sugimoto Takashi) and Kazuko Sugimoto (杉本 和子, Sugimoto Kazuko) are the father and mother of Reimi Sugimoto. On August 13, 1983, Reimi heard a dripping sound coming from their room and called for them but heard no response. The drip sound continued, and Reimi wondered why her parents hadn't heard it yet. She decided to go investigate the sound and found that Arnold was hanging on the coat rack, with his blood dripping. Yoshikage Kira then suddenly appeared and informed her that he had already taken care of her parents.
