Steven Steel's Secretary

Steel Ball Run

Steven Steel 's secretary is first seen listing several complains about the San Diego Beach camp prepared for the Steel Ball Run to Steven Steel. Annoyed at the secretary's incompetence, Steven adds another $1,000,000 to the race budget, going over budget. He then informs him of the incoming press conference before leaving. He is later seen at the press conference beside Steven, and lists the sponsors of the race while being interviewed.↗↗

During the 1st Stage of the race, he joins Steven in observing the race from a train car. When asked by Steven about Gyro Zeppeli, the secretary notes him missing a record. He is later shown to have gathered insider knowledge about Gyro, such as the ship he arrived to the United States in. Realizing he's a foreigner, Steven asks his secretary to gather more information about Gyro after the conclusion of the 1st Stage.↗↗

He later joins Steven and Lucy Steel while looking into the deaths of Mark Becker, David Hagen and Paul Lukather, though he stays in the carriage with Lucy.↗↗

During the 2nd Stage, he discusses the numerous accidents caused by the supposed Devil's Palm to Steven. Asked if Gyro was the first to cross, the secretary is then bombarded with questions hinting towards a second nature of the race. Confused, the secretary asks Steven about the race's intent, which Steven doubles down on.↗↗

He also delivers Steven's lunchbox prepared by Lucy.↗↗

Personality

Despite being the manager of the race, he is uninformed of Funny Valentine 's goals and is not aware of the Saint's Corpse. After being ordered by Steven to investigate if Gyro is carrying the corpse, he expresses surprise about the sudden nature of the request and goes so far as to question Steven if the race has a hidden motivation, before being quickly dismissed.↗↗
