Neapolitan Financier

An influential and wealthy financier of the Kingdom of Naples. His son is a royal guard who marries the sister of a fellow royal guardsman, Wekapipo. After Wekapipo forces the marriage to be annuled, the financier's son berates Wekapipo, claiming that he had brought shame upon him by his father and challenging Wekapipo to a duel. Wekapipo emerges victorious, but is exiled by Gregorio Zeppeli as a way of "erasing" him so that he may avoid the financier's wraith. Gregorio later claims that if his daughter-in-law hadn't been rendered blind by his son's abuse, he would have had her assassinated.
