The Ku Klux Klan (often abbreviated to KKK) is an American White supremacist hate group dedicated to terrorizing and killing of African Americans that was founded in 1865 and received a resurgence during the 1920s. In 1988, they accompanied the racist detective hired by Enrico Pucci and were responsible for the beating and lynching of Wes Bluemarine while under the assumption that he is of mixed race. In the anime, they are replaced with a hoodless angry mob.
