03Appearance
Pucci is a dark-skinned man of average to above-average height and slim to fit build.↗
Pucci of the New Moon
After fusing with the Green Baby, Pucci's appearance takes several superficial changes. Strands of hair join to his eyebrows, forming a five-pointed star on his forehead and his right sideburn joins with it. His hair changes design with three shaved lines going from his left temple to the base of his skull. He grows ponytails or dreadlocks, which thread through the holes of his collar. A star-shaped birthmark also appears on his shoulder.↗↗
04Personality
The priest Enrico Pucci is an amicable man turned fanatic, committed to a heretical notion of God's will and DIO 's plan.↗
As a teenager, Enrico Pucci was a good-hearted man who tried his best to follow his faith as a future priest. This question was what led him to become a priest and seek answers. When a tragic series of events led to the suicide of his beloved sister Perla, Pucci fell into despair and went to see DIO, a mysterious eccentric man that he had met prior.↗↗↗↗
Enrico Pucci then became a radical believer after frequenting DIO, whose principal credo was that humans were helpless before the forces that ruled the universe. Among these forces, God's will and Fate, which Pucci dubs "Gravity", were the most frequently discussed.↗↗↗↗↗
05Abilities
Whitesnake
Whitesnake is Pucci's first Stand, with which he can manipulate a person's psyche into DISCs to steal. Pucci usually only steals two DISCs, one containing the Stand of the target while the other contains the target's memories. He is also able to create DISCS to contain other things such as his eyesight or boiling water. Whitesnake can also produce an hallucinatory acid which slowly dissolves its enemies and puts them in a dream-like state.↗
Pucci's Stand evolves into two other Stands during the course of Stone Ocean.↗
C-MOON
Pucci develops C-MOON with the instructions in DIO's notebook and with DIO's bone, which manipulates gravity. It can create a gravitational field around Pucci, and its punches pull things inside out, essentially destroying them in the process.↗
Made in Heaven
Pucci finally develops Made in Heaven with further instructions in DIO's notebook, which steadily accelerates the speed of time by manipulating the universe's gravity. Unlike C-MOON, the effect has no range limitation and affects the whole universe.↗
Personal
Pucci is able to eat a pair of cherries without removing the seeds from their stems in his mouth.↗↗
06Story
SPOILERS
Background
Pucci was born on June 5, 1972 to a wealthy family and lived a fairly normal childhood. He was born with a disfigured left foot, though this apparently did not hinder his ability to walk. Having descended from an influential Italian family, he grew up with a wealthy upbringing and was well-liked by everyone.↗
Stone Ocean (2011-2012)
The Way to Heaven / Framing Jolyne Cujoh
To fulfill DIO's secret plan, Pucci needs the hidden instructions contained within DIO's Notebook, but Jotaro Kujo has burned it down. However, Pucci knows that Jotaro must have read the notebook. To recover the instructions and avenge DIO, Pucci and Johngalli A. devise a plan to lure Jotaro into their prison.↗
The Way to Heaven / Attempts to Eliminate Jolyne Cujoh
After the battle between Jolyne, Ermes Costello and Foo Fighters, Pucci participates in the search for the missing prisoners who were killed during said battle and notes that his whole stash of DISCs has been taken and there is no sign of Foo Fighters. He concludes that Jolyne is a more dangerous foe than he previously thought and that she's gathered allies.↗↗
The Way to Heaven / Birth of the Green Baby
Pucci then carries on to his original plan and meets Sports Maxx at the chapel. He then asks Maxx to revive DIO's Bone with his powers, which results in the bone's disappearance. After a short moment of panic, Pucci understands that the plan is being carried out and resolves to wait for the bone to reappear of its own volition. However, Sports Maxx reveals that he senses the bone's presence in the Ultra Security House Unit.↗↗
The Way to Heaven / Battle Against Jolyne Cujoh
Nonetheless, Pucci disguises Whitesnake as Weather Report and fools Foo Fighters, who brings him to Jolyne and The Green Baby. Whitesnake impales Anasui and Foo Fighters, but Jolyne cuffs herself to Pucci. Pucci has an advantage in that he merely needs to extract Jolyne's Stand or memory DISC to win, but he is overwhelmed and must use Jotaro 's memory DISC. He throws the DISC into Anasui's dying corpse, forcing her to try to save him while Pucci finally rejoins the Green Baby.↗↗↗↗↗↗
Leaving for Cape Canaveral / Heavy Weather Unleashed
Heavy Weather 's power begins to wreak havoc in Orlando as Weather's Memory DISC was returned to him by Donatello Versus 's Under World. Pucci thus leaves the hospital and begins chasing Weather. Knowing about the subliminal power of Heavy Weather, Pucci hides in ambush under a mass of snails. He manages to cut off Weather's right leg during a surprise attack. When Anasui tries to rush toward Pucci to attack him, several snails lunge toward him, infecting him as well.↗↗↗↗
Countdown to Heaven / Made in Heaven Awakened
At this moment, he realizes that his condition allows him to recreate the exact environmental conditions needed to awaken the ultimate power. Pucci gravitates to a space shuttle, even avoiding a spear thrown by Jotaro, thanks to a lingering ability to move in the time-stop, and subsequently evolves his Stand further. The priest now commands Made in Heaven and begins the next step of his plan. Pucci accelerates time, causing chaos across the earth as all living beings are left lagging behind.↗↗↗↗
A New Universe / Battle against Emporio
A new universe is born in which every person has received precognitive abilities for the purpose of accepting their fate. However, the only obstacle that remains in Pucci's way is Emporio Alnino. Thus, Pucci stops the acceleration at the time of Jotaro's visit to the prison in order to prevent Emporio from interfering and eventually grow into yet another threat.↗↗↗
Spin-Offs
OVER HEAVEN
When the Joestar Group begins their journey to Cairo, DIO asks Pucci to meet in Egypt instead of America, like he previously planned. Their meeting is held at a separate hideout away from Enya and the D'Arby brothers. He learns about his Stand, Whitesnake, and its ability to extract Stands and memories from people, which, in essence, allows him to collect human souls.↗↗
Eyes of Heaven
When Heaven-Attained DIO starts to rewrite reality in other universes, Pucci is naturally recruited to his side. However, the heroes also become aware of the problem and also start to collect the pieces of the Saint's Corpse.↗

09Behind the Character
Hirohiko Araki initially came up with the concept of Pucci being a priest as just a facade, and not to impart some religious message. On the surface, Pucci appears as a kind, dependable figure, like a trusted teacher. However, in reality, he is the inheritor of DIO 's evil ambitions, making him a complex villain. Araki wondered if such complex villains belonged in a shonen manga. Feeling Weekly Shonen Jump was no longer the right fit for him, he later decided to move to publishing the series in Ultra Jump when he was around 45 years old.↗↗↗
During the Weekly Shonen Jump serialization of Stone Ocean, Enrico Pucci was originally named "Roberto Pucci" (ロベルト・プッチ, Roberuto Putchi). Most instances of this name were changed in the shinshoban 107 mm (4.2 in) by 174 mm (6.9 in). Common size for original releases of manga and re-releases of novels. release, with the rest later being corrected in the bunkoban edition.↗

Allies
DIO: DIO's encounter with Pucci is presumably the most prominent example of humanity displayed by him, having healed Pucci's foot when they first meet. Through the time he spends with Pucci, DIO comes to trust him enough to allow Pucci to inherit control of his plan. At one point, DIO forced Pucci's hand into his head and nearly had his Stand DISC removed to test Pucci's loyalty to him. Pucci himself states that he loves DIO like he does God.↗
Johngalli A.: Pucci had allied with Johngalli A. to kill Jotaro and his daughter to avenge DIO. Despite their alliance Pucci later betrayed Johngalli A.↗
Neutral
Donatello Versus: Donatello is one of the 4 known illegitimate children DIO had before the events of Stardust Crusaders. Initially allies, the two later clash. Donatello fatefully meets with Pucci and later awakens his stand Underworld through him. Donatello met Pucci at the hospital after a botched robbery left him severely injured. Due to his leg injury, he is the last to awaken a Stand. Him and Pucci would share several physical attributes in common such as identical measurements. While trying to eliminate Jolyne Cujoh and Ermes Costello, Versus becomes displeased with Pucci's authority and later betrays Pucci out of spite by stealing Weather Report 's Memory DISC.↗
Enemies
Wes Bluemarine: Pucci lived most of his youth unaware of his real brother's identity. Their first encounter ended successfully for Pucci, who took Wes's memories but kept him around in-order to 'save him' at some point. When Wes's memory is restored, he remembers his grudge for Pucci and pursues him in Orlando. Their second fight ended in Pucci's favor again, who was able to kill Wes by punching him through his chest with Whitesnake.↗
Relationships in Eyes of Heaven
Heaven-Attained DIO: Pucci was as loyal to Ascension DIO as he was to regular DIO.↗
