02Plot details
SPOILERS
In 1905, Cobb’s father is killed by his wife. There also exists a rumor that he came home late on purpose upon hearing of his wife's affair, and was killed by his wife and her secret lover when he discovered them in bed together. It can be inferred he is most likely William Herschel Cobb, the father of the real-life Ty Cobb, who also died to a gunshot in 1905.↗
